The National Agency for Election Management (ANGE) in a statement dated Wednesday, April 3, 2024, reminds all candidates for the presidential election on May 6, 2024 that the electoral campaign will begin on April 14, according to the established schedule.

Furthermore, ANGE reminds that Law No. 005/CNT/2024 on the Electoral Code regulates the opening and closing dates of the electoral campaign, especially in articles 112 and 132. Therefore, it requires all presidential candidates to remove campaign posters and portraits throughout the national territory.

The National Agency for Election Management calls on all candidates for the presidential election on May 6 to act with more responsibility and restraint, in order to ensure fairness and transparency of the election.
