The Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy, Boukar Michel, visited the construction site of the National School of Information and Communication Technologies (ENASTIC) on Wednesday, February 28th.
The main purpose of this visit is to observe the progress of the construction works of the National Telecommunications School of ENASTIC, which have been ongoing for several years.
Satisfied with the progress of the construction site, the Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy, Boukar Michel, urged the construction company to make more efforts to finalize the work as soon as possible.
“The works are 90% completed, they are already at the finishing level. I have asked the construction company to finish the works quickly to release ENASTIC from renting, as it costs us approximately 100 million per year,” he said.
It should be noted that the construction of this school started in 2020. The government aims to make this institution a sub-regional school. To achieve this, the minister mentioned that partnership agreements with friendly countries will be established. “We will soon have permanent teachers for a good training. I would like to congratulate the monitoring offices and the company for their significant work, and the rest is up to us to finalize,” said the Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy, Boukar Michel.
