Chad: March 8th is declared a public holiday, non-working and paid

The Minister of Public Service and Social Dialogue, Abdoulaye Mbodou Mbami, informs workers in the public and private sectors that Friday, March 8th, the date of the celebration of International Women’s Day, is a public holiday, meaning that it is non-working and paid throughout the country. However, Saturday, March 9th, 2024 remains a working day for services that normally operate on that day.
