Chad: Higher education teachers’ union calls on its members to respect the strike mandate of the trade union platform

In a statement published on Wednesday, March 13, the Executive Bureau of the National Union of Teachers and Researchers in Higher Education in Chad called on its members across the country to adhere to the strike called by the signatory trade unions of the triennial social pact.

In its statement, the union of higher education teachers drew the attention of the institutions’ leaders and department heads who schedule missionaries and temporary teachers that this behavior would not be tolerated.

Furthermore, the National Executive Bureau asks its members not to give in and to report any wrongdoing. They also urge them to mobilize and be vigilant for future actions.
