The leader of the Party for Unity and Equity in Chad (Pret), Bongoro Théophile, was officially endorsed this Saturday, March 9, 2024, as the candidate of his party for the upcoming presidential election on May 6. This occurred during an extraordinary convention organized by the political party at the National Women’s House.
“I will be the architect of change by aiming for two major objectives, to consolidate the position of our party in the upcoming presidential perspective and to pull Chad out of an untenable economic and financial situation,” he declared before being endorsed.
