RiftOne, Health360, and Fit CV are the three technological companies (startups) selected to represent Cape Verde at the Web Summit, which will take place next week in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, announced Cape Verde Digital (CVD) on Wednesday.
While RiftOne is linked to artificial intelligence, Health360 focuses on healthcare, and Fit CV is dedicated to physical and mental well-being.
In addition to these three initiatives, a delegation from the Cape Verdean diaspora of AfrincanDev will also be joining, according to CVD.
For the first time, Cape Verde will have a startup (RiftOne) on the main stage of the event related to technology, a “historic achievement” that highlights the strength and innovation of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the archipelago, according to the same source.
The companies will present their technological solutions on one of the event stages to a diverse audience of potential partners and investors.
The Web Summit will take place from April 15th to 18th, the second consecutive year it has been extended to Rio de Janeiro.
This will be Cape Verde’s fifth participation in one of the world’s largest fairs of innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship, hosted in Lisbon.
