This is a 72-hour working visit by Air Brigade General Jean-Calvin Momha to the Far North region.

The 401 air force commandos in their military ceremonial attire welcomed their general in the most beautiful region.

Upon his arrival last Monday, the brigadier general paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of the Far North region, Midjiyawa Bakari, and then visited the divisional general commanding the inter-armed forces military region number 4, Sally Mohammadou. Closed-door discussions allowed the two senior leaders of the Cameroonian army to review the position of the air force in the Far North region, a region impacted by the Boko Haram crisis.

This working visit was an opportunity for the air force chief to hold a working session with the officials of the 401 air base in Maroua.

Accompanied by a strong delegation, IMAROUA-SALA, Air Brigade General Jean-Calvin came to assess the operational capacity of the 401 air base at the MAROUA-SALAK airport.

During his stay, the general praised the resilience of the military personnel who work tirelessly despite not always having sufficient resources.

It was on Wednesday morning that the brigadier general concluded his stay at the 401 base with a message of encouragement to the troops.
