Cameroonian Member of Parliament, accomplished businessman, and founder of Mount Cameroon Football Club, Hon Calvin Foinding has passed away.

He died on January 30 at the Le Jourdin clinic in Yaoundé, due to a cardiac arrest. Hon Foinding made significant contributions to Cameroonian football, leaving an indelible mark on the nation’s sports landscape.

His sudden demise has prompted heartfelt tributes from various quarters, including the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) who expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy.

Hon Foinding’s multifaceted career included managing the Bandjoun Stadium in the West Region before venturing into football leadership where he founded Mount Cameroon FC in 1997.
