A delegation from the Ministry of Arts and Culture visited the governor of the Adamaoua region, Kildadi Taguiéké Boukar, on Monday, March 25, before heading to Idool on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
This mission, led by Ms. Astadjam Saoudi, technical advisor number 2 at the Ministry of Arts and Culture, is bringing donations for the residents of the village of Idool, located in the Bélel district.
The commitments made by the Ministry of Arts and Culture to the village of Idool will be honored. A project to write an official monograph of Idool will be implemented, presenting the authentic history of the village, written by ministry specialists with the sociological aspects of the village.
A Center for Reading and Cultural Animation will be established in the village, including a library and a room for initiation into heritage values, working towards the preservation of heritage and cultural animation.
The rehabilitation of the chieftaincy is planned, as well as the creation of a museum for the conservation of objects aimed at maintaining memory.
The Governor of Adamaoua is pleased with these actions taken by the government to bring back peace, a value dear to the President of the Republic.
