Many lawyers in Cameroon are calling for the resignation of the President of the General Assembly of the Cameroon Bar Association, Barrister Gbaka Ernest Acho, following an alleged physical assault on a colleague during a now-postponed Bar General Assembly, which was held on Friday, January 30, 2026, in Yaoundé.
