Criminals, drug traffickers, motorcycle thieves, and illegal weapons holders, several suspects arrested are being interrogated at the Ntui Territorial Brigade after the crackdown launched by the detectives of this gendarmerie.
The young people involved in criminal activities in Ntui have lost sleep. In just 4 days, several raids conducted as part of a crackdown initiated by the elements of the Ntui Gendarmerie have led to the rout of several suspects. The latest raid took place on February 7 at around 6 a.m., where the sharp-eyed elements of the National Gendarmerie carried out a crackdown in the village of Nkoloutou (10 kilometers from Ntui). During this operation, three individuals found in possession of 03 homemade 12-caliber firearms and about twenty rounds of ammunition were arrested.
Two days earlier, the sharp-eyed officers of Galax Etoga under the supervision of the Commander of the Ntui Gendarmerie Company had already demonstrated their strength. The operation, which began on February 3 with a raid in the village of Nguila at 8 p.m., led to the arrest of a 29-year-old individual found in possession of a stolen motorcycle a few days earlier. His thorough exploitation led to an ambush on February 4 at 10 p.m. of his accomplice, on the road to the village of Mabonguè (25 km from Ntui), fleeing to Mbandjock with another stolen motorcycle, in a home in the Bami district, as stated in an official note from the Gendarmerie.
“Continuing the operation on February 5 at 6 a.m., three other individuals were arrested in the Bami district in a room where eight (08) large nuggets and a plastic bag containing a significant quantity of Indian hemp and objects of dubious origin were discovered and seized. These include a 17-inch Samsung plasma screen TV and another 42-inch ITEL brand TV; 03 speakers and 01 woofer; a white toilet bidet,” the same note adds.
The individuals arrested during this operation are currently being interrogated and will be presented to the competent judicial authorities.
