The Cameroonian Football Federation and the Communal Bank held a working session on March 18, 2024 in Yaoundé.

The Special Fund for Equipment and Intercommunal Intervention (FEICOM) and the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) are working together to build stadiums in some municipalities in Cameroon. The meeting brought together teams from both organizations in the meeting room of the Cooperation Department of FEICOM.

The two parties resumed talks that began in 2016 as part of the project to build sports infrastructure at the local level. Their goal is to define the collaboration modalities that will allow them to carry out this project for the benefit of decentralized territorial communities.

During the March 18 meeting, FECAFOOT officials presented their sponsorship offer to the FEICOM officials. In return, the latter explained the expectations of FEICOM regarding FECAFOOT, as well as the steps that could lead to funding by their organization. At the end of the discussions, both parties agreed on the importance of generating interest in this project among communities and placing them at the center of its implementation. They also agreed to continue negotiations in order to conclude a partnership.
