Embarking on a journey to South Africa for a significant music concert, Elizabeth Tekeh took a moment to praise her husband and express gratitude for their partnership in promoting the influence of music.

The couple departed from Cameroon on Tuesday, March 19th, to participate in the music evangelism event scheduled for March 23rd, 2024. The event will also feature a Gospel Music Easter festival.

As they left their home country, Elizabeth Tekeh shared her heartfelt thoughts on her Facebook page, stating, “If you find a MAN that’s really real & genuine with you, no hidden agendas, KEEP HIM! Trust me when I say it’s so rare to find a man like Rev Martin Tekeh. God is Love.”

Elizabeth Tekeh, a well-known gospel singer and evangelist, is highly respected for her musical abilities and her commitment to promoting marriage. She has consistently stressed the significance of patience and seeking divine guidance for young women in their quest for life partners.

In an interview with DW, she highlighted the importance of prioritizing the relational aspect of marriage over extravagant ceremonies, remarking, “A lot of couples forget the essential part of marriage and spend a lot of money. Marriage is not just the white wedding and traditional marriage. Marriage is a relationship, and if we forget the part of the relationship, the marriage won’t be sustained. Doing your marriage big does not guarantee a lasting marriage.”

She continued her advice by stating, “No matter how rich or educated a lady is, the husband remains the head of the household and will always be superior.”

Elizabeth Tekeh stressed the significance of seeking guidance from experienced individuals in successful marriages, particularly underscoring the value of parental advice for young couples contemplating matrimony. She cautioned against entering into a marriage based on superficial reasons, noting that such marriages often end in separation once the initial attraction fades.

Having released five albums, including her latest work “Record of Life,” Elizabeth Tekeh has established herself as a prominent figure in the gospel music industry. From her humble beginnings in Mbanga Bush to her current tour in South Africa, she exemplifies the power of determination and staying relevant in the gospel music scene.
