This was revealed by former indomitable lion Bernard Tchoutang in a live video on Facebook a few days ago. While more than 60 players have been implicated by Fecafoot for age fraud, including Nathan Doualla who was later identified by Le Monde newspaper as Alexandre Bardeli, Tchoutang Bernard made some revelations.
Indeed, the former winger of the Cameroon national team stated that Mr. Valentin Kwain, president of Victoria United, provided proof to Fecafoot that his player Nathan Doualla does not have a double identity. According to him, Alexandre Bardeli was Nathan Doualla’s brother who passed away a few years ago.
“The president of Victoria United has provided evidence that Nathan Doualla is indeed his name (…) The evidence is with Fecafoot. He has provided proof that the person you claim to be Bardeli was his brother,” he said, before continuing, “He has provided proof that it was indeed his deceased brother.”
A curious statement that raised even more suspicions, especially since Fecafoot never mentioned Alexandre Bardeli. It was Le Monde newspaper that, in a report, made this revelation a few hours after the federation’s list was published. Bernard Tchoutang also claimed that Fecafoot relied solely on the evidence provided by the president of Opopo and plans to reinclude the player in the list of those who will compete in the playoffs scheduled for March 22nd.
“Is Fecafoot the police or the state to go and check if what he says is true or false? No!” he exclaimed.
