At least 26 women and girls were killed, or died in cases reported as suspected killings, across Cameroon between August 1 and September 11, 2026, according to an MMI News review of police accounts, government media, local news reports and subsequent investigation updates.
The victims range from a three-year-old girl in Douala to adult women killed in their homes, on roads, in hotel rooms and other locations across the country.
