200 women victims of the war in the North-West and South-West regions will be able to participate for free in a training session organized by the Foundation Cœur de Mère, created by the movie star Muriel Blanche.
The Heart of Mother Foundation will hold a training session for 200 housewives who are also internally displaced persons from the Anglophone crisis in Bandja, in the Haut Nkam department, in the West region, from March 4 to 7. The program includes vocational training in agriculture. The goal is to increase the yield of their agricultural production and their income.
The training will focus on four crops: maize, cassava, potatoes, and tomatoes. It is divided into two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. At the end of the training, the participants will receive agricultural products to help them start their own businesses. There will also be discussions about building a multifunctional center for the empowerment and development of rural women.
Founded in 2017, the Heart of Mother Foundation has already reached over 700 mothers and children through its various programs and projects in the fields of education, agriculture, health and well-being, and social and professional integration.
