Cabo Verde Airports announced today, in a statement, that in April they will begin work to improve the airports and aerodromes of the country, in line with the concession contract and standards of VINCI Airports.

According to the same source, the interventions are due to the identification of some changes as strategic axes for the sustainability and modernization of airport infrastructures, investment in improving the quality of services provided, as well as the promotion and development of new routes.

The statement also highlights that in order to fulfill this mission, which they believe will bring “enormous” gains for everyone by raising the quality of Cabo Verde’s tourist destination and promoting the country’s economic and social development, it will be necessary to carry out phased works to improve, remodel and modernize the airports.

“We will start in April with integrated interventions in the plan to improve and modernize the airports of Sal, Praia, São Vicente and the aerodrome of Maio,” they emphasize, expressing regret for the constraints caused by the works, promising to minimize them and appealing for tolerance and understanding from everyone.

They also add in the note that the constraints are temporary and that “the positive impact will certainly be lasting and beneficial for everyone.”

To this end, they promise to communicate in advance updates regarding the works, as well as any possible constraints to customers.
