Busoga is seeking to turn coffee and cocoa farming into new tourism and business opportunities as the region looks to create jobs and increase incomes for young people and women.
The push will be showcased at the inaugural Busoga Coffee & Cocoa Tourism Festival, scheduled for September 18 to 20, 2026 at Jinja Showgrounds.
The festival, organised by the Women’s Environmental Forum Uganda (WEF-Uganda) in partnership with the Busoga Kingdom and other stakeholders, is expected to attract more than 300 exhibitors and thousands of participants.
