A Kampala-based textile trader has accused Kalungu East Member of Parliament-elect, Yusuf Kiruluuta Junior Nkeretanyi, of masterminding a scheme to steal curtain materials worth Shs3.7 billion from his home and business premises, with the alleged involvement of the trader’s wife and close associates.
Nkeretanyi, who contested against State Minister Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja, is jointly charged with six others, including the complainant’s wife, Shamira Nakachwa, over offences of theft and handling stolen property of Hajj Sulaiman Lwabuuka Kasule.
