In the small prefecture of Est-Mono, the Prefect has decided to go big for the reception of President Faure GNASSINGBE. There is no question of doing things by halves for our valiant Prefect, who mobilizes the entire administration and population with overflowing zeal!
A true call to general mobilization has been launched by the Prefect and the mayors of the surrounding municipalities. From the shyest administrative officer to the most phlegmatic department head, everyone is invited to participate in this great presidential reception party.
And that’s not all! Women’s and youth associations are also being called upon to contribute, not to mention artisans and various trades in the region. Even the traditional chieftaincy and religious denominations (Catholic, Protestant, and Muslim) are invited to join the celebration.
As for the population, they are encouraged to mobilize massively from the morning to board trucks specially chartered for the occasion. A true expedition to conquer Ogou-Kolidè!
Some residents of hamlets and farms are even asked to use any available means of transportation to reach the canton capitals as soon as possible. After all, it is better to be safe than sorry, isn’t it?
So, for this presidential reception scheduled for Tuesday, March 19, 2024, which has been postponed to Wednesday, one thing is certain: the Prefect of Est-Mono does not want to do things by halves! Everyone is ready to mobilize to ensure that this day remains unforgettable in the history of the prefecture.
