Burkina Faso: The State wants to register students practicing agricultural production to help them set up their own businesses
Ouagadougou, March 13, 2024 (Africa Links 24) – The Burkinabe government announced on Wednesday the registration of all students who are on agricultural production sites to help them set up their own businesses.
“The State is willing to register all students who are on agricultural production sites to enable them to set up their own businesses,” said Minister of Public Service Bassolma Bazié on Wednesday, following the Council of Ministers.
According to Minister Basié, the government is also considering recruiting a certain number of young people to train them in entrepreneurship in specific areas and assist them in setting up their businesses.
This initiative by the authorities is being carried out in parallel with recruitment in the Civil Service, which plans to fill more than 5300 positions in 2024.
