Burkina: Djibo Town Resupplied
A resupply convoy, including essential products, arrived in Djibo on Thursday, April 11, 2024, bringing joy to the local population. The people welcomed the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) with cheers and slogans to praise their bravery.
On March 26, 2024, the community leaders in Djibo organized a support march for the Transition and also requested a resupply convoy. This convoy comes as a relief to the population who have just finished a month of Ramadan during which essential products were scarce.
The Transport Union of Soum expressed its gratitude to the Transitional authorities, FDS, and Volunteer Defense Forces (VDP) for their efforts in facilitating the resupply. While waiting for the situation to normalize, the population is requesting that convoys be sent every month.
