Burkina/Slam: “De toutes les couleurs” (Of All Colors), the first audiovisual release by artist Hadji Kabré, will be available on April 13th, 2024, on YouTube, according to sources close to the artist.

This single highlights the diversity of colors and emotions. “This sonic journey depicts the nuances of scenes. Each of us has our own color,” expressed Hadji Kabré, adding that “we have each painted a canvas, a living star anchored within us with the richest and most sordid shades.”

The sound provokes thought and immerses the listener in self-reflection with a focus on defending the motherland. “From the passionate red to the macabre black, from the laughter yellow to the white heart.”

“What is your color in this society if you were to repaint Burkina Faso in red, yellow, green?” exclaimed Hadji Kabré, questioning, “Are you a hateful stigma or a fanatic?”, “A patriot or a stateless person without borders?”, “Are you an actor or a spectator?”, “What is your color?”

Each individual will have to answer these thought-provoking questions on this sonic journey.

A slam poet since 2019, Hadji Kabré has been working as a showbiz entertainer, commonly known as a DJ (disc-jockey) for a year. She is also a student studying law.
