Burkina: Several successful operations carried out this weekend by the Combative Forces
Ouagadougou, March 17, 2024 (Africa Links 24) – The Combative Forces carried out operations in the Center-north and East regions this weekend that led to the neutralization of many terrorists, the recovery of equipment, and the consolidation of pacification in certain localities, according to security sources.
Following the air-land operations on March 15, 2024, which allowed for the elimination of several terrorists in the Kossouka area in the Center-north, the forces of evil were determined to attack peaceful citizens at all costs.
This is why survivors returned in small groups on the morning of March 16 to carry out their dirty work.
These groups would be joined by other assassins under a large tree.
Fortunately, the airborne vectors were vigilant and were able to strike this horde before their assault.
In addition to the Kossouka area, other groups of criminals were planning to attack in the Silmangue area.
Thus, on March 15, a group of terrorists was spotted in a village in Tarpako, Yalgo area (Center-north).
The next morning, these hundreds of bloodthirsty criminals assembled for battle in Silmangue.
They could be seen for several kilometers, on motorcycles and in vehicles.
Just as the hordes made a stop to receive their final instructions, the pilots initiated successive strikes.
A large group of killers was decimated under a dense tree, causing the others to come out of hiding to flee.
But the pilots maintained the pressure and neutralized the majority of them.
Survivors who jumped into a pickup truck filled with logistics did not get far, as a missile sent them to hell.
Early in the morning of March 17, elements from the 5th Rapid Intervention Battalion launched an operation in enemy territory to neutralize any criminals lurking there.
The operations continued on Sunday, March 17, 2024, around 7 a.m. in the East of the country where several criminals were near Natiaboini under large trees.
At the right moment, the pilots sent a powerful missile that incinerated them in their cluster.
Survivors tried to escape the flames but collapsed further away on all fours.
Further observations revealed that it was a large base.
An operation was immediately organized and a commando from the national commando training center in Pô, already operating in the area, was airlifted to the base.
As soon as the soldiers set foot on the ground, they engaged in a fierce battle with the assassins and made quick work of them.
Then the commando swept the entire area, recovered usable weapons, and destroyed everything else that could not be taken.
Lastly, the patriots set fire to the base before being safely exfiltrated.
