Burkina: Religious and Traditional Leaders Praise Captain Traoré for his Conduct during the Transition
Tenkodogo, March 7, 2024 (Africa Links 24) -Received in audience this Thursday in Tenkodogo, the traditional and religious leaders of the Center East region praised the actions of the Transition President, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, in the current leadership of the country.
Mandated by the Dima of Zoungrantenga, Naaba Guigem-Pollé, these dignitaries expressed their satisfaction with the efforts made to bring peace back to Burkina Faso.
According to the regional president of the Assemblies of God churches of Burkina, spokesman for the delegation, Pastor Elie Zallé, this audience was an opportunity for religious leaders to express their encouragement to the Head of State and to reaffirm their commitment to support the actions of the Transition.
“This visit goes straight to our hearts. This will further galvanize us to move forward, to support the authorities of the Transition in the fight in which we are involved,” supported the leader of the delegation.
The spokesman for the traditional leaders, the Chief of Dimtenga, praised the commitment of the Transition President to the return of peace to our country. “We prayed to God and implored our ancestors to accompany him so that the country truly lives up to its name of Burkina Faso, that is to say, the land of upright people because where there is integrity, you will never fail,” supported the Chief of Dimtenga.
The representatives of the Dima of Zoungrantenga expressed their gratitude to the Head of State for all the actions he has taken for Burkina Faso.
