Burkina: Over 3 million children to be vaccinated against measles and rubella from March 15 to 25
Ziniaré, March 7, 2024 (Africa Links 24) – Over 3 million children aged 9 months to 59 months will be vaccinated from March 15 to 25 in 61 health districts in the country during a campaign to combat measles and rubella.
The vaccination campaign against measles and rubella will take place from March 15 to 25, 2024. It will include 3,489,383 children aged 9 to 59 months from 61 health districts in the country. For this 2024 campaign, nine health districts are not included as they have already been vaccinated.
Health authorities reported 2,355 cases of measles and 8 deaths last week.
