Burkina: Five people died in an aircraft crash

Diapaga, March 6, 2024 (Africa Links 24) – Five people were killed on Wednesday and two others injured in an aircraft crash in Diapaga in the East of Burkina, the Africa Links 24 learned at the scene.

According to testimonies collected by the Africa Links 24, the plane failed to take off and ended up in a tree.

The aircraft belongs to the company Lead Air which has been connecting Ouagadougou to Diapaga for nearly three months.

It is worth noting that the Fada N’Gourma – Diapaga axis is difficult to access due to insecurity.

The army regularly organizes supply and transportation convoys for the benefit of the population.
