Iran condemns the terrorist attacks of February 25 perpetrated against a mosque and a church in Burkina

Ouagadougou, March 1 (Africa Links 24) – Iran has condemned the terrorist attacks carried out on February 25 against Christian and Muslim worshipers in Burkina Faso, the Africa Links 24 learned on Friday from the Iranian embassy in Ouagadougou.

“The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ouagadougou condemns the terrorist attack on February 25 against a mosque and a church in Burkina Faso, which killed and injured many innocents,” the embassy wrote on its Facebook page.

“The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran expresses its condolences to the government and the people of Burkina Faso, especially to the families of the victims of these terrorist attacks,” the same source stated.
