Burkina: Bam’SS Grace is preparing a support concert for the widows of the Defense and Security Forces on April 27th
Ouagadougou, March 14, 2024 (Africa Links 24) – Gendarme and artist Bam’SS Grace, in collaboration with the Association of Youth for the Promotion and Valorization of Cultural Acts (AJPVAC), plans to organize a concert on April 27th to raise funds to help empower 10 widows and 10 orphans of soldiers and VDP who have fallen for the safeguarding of the nation.
“Given the security situation, soldiers have left prematurely, leaving women and children to fend for themselves. It is in this context that artist Bam’SS Grace has decided to organize a concert to provide assistance,” said the artist’s manager, Paulin Mindiour.
According to the organizing committee president Axel Gambo, this concert, called “more than a conqueror,” is aimed at promoting peace, unity, and social cohesion.
“Bam’SS Grace, a gendarme by profession and a Gospel artist, not only fights for national sovereignty on the front lines, but also uses music to heal wounded hearts,” added Mr. Gambo.
“It is good to give money to orphans and widows, but it is even better when we provide them with an activity to become self-reliant,” continued the organizing committee president.
He stated that the objective of this concert project is to establish income-generating activities for 10 widows and 10 orphans.
Artist Bam’SS Grace, whose real name is Etienne Bamogo, emphasized that music can provide solace, and he hopes to achieve this through the concert.
This initiative is supported by the Association of Youth for the Promotion and Valorization of Cultural Acts (AJPVAC).
According to the artist’s manager, Paulin Mindiour, AJPVAC is an association that contributes to the socio-cultural development of Burkina Faso through the promotion and valorization of cultural acts and raising public awareness of cultural diversity in art and culture.
In conclusion, the aim of this concert project is not only to raise funds but also to empower widows and orphans by providing them with sustainable income-generating activities. Through music and unity, the community hopes to support those who have sacrificed for the nation’s security.
