Lesego Chombo, the reigning Miss World Africa from Botswana, has decided to step away from the world of pageantry and focus on charitable endeavors and commercial ventures. Despite the encouragement from her fans to explore other pageants, Lesego has chosen to retire from competing in beauty pageants and shift her focus towards making a positive impact on her community and beyond.

After captivating audiences on the Miss World stage in India, Lesego is gracefully transitioning to a new chapter of self-discovery and purpose. She spent seven years dedicated to understanding what it takes to become Miss World, and now that she has achieved that goal, she is ready to move on to new challenges.

Lesego’s main focus now is her Beauty with a Purpose project, “The Genesis,” which is under the Lesego Chombo Foundation. She plans to base her operations in her native Ngamiland region to have a more focused impact on the community. Through this initiative, she aims to work with families in the region and make a positive difference in Botswana and the African continent as a whole.

As Miss World Africa, Lesego feels a sense of obligation to use her platform to bring about change and help those in need. She is looking forward to collaborating with other beauty queens on their own initiatives and hopes to inspire others to make a difference in their communities.

In addition to her philanthropic work, Lesego also has dreams of commercializing her talents. Having gained valuable skills from her time in pageantry, such as confidence, public speaking, and poise, she sees opportunities to work as a brand ambassador and engage in speaking engagements. She wants to show that talent can be a source of income and plans to leverage her impact to support herself financially.

While her days on the pageant stage may be behind her, Lesego’s legacy as a beauty queen will endure. Her timeless values of beauty, grace, and integrity will continue to inspire others for generations to come. By choosing to focus on making a difference in her community and pursuing her commercial aspirations, Lesego is setting a powerful example of using one’s platform for good and personal growth.

As she embarks on this new chapter of her life, Lesego is confident that her impact will continue to be felt far and wide. Through her Beauty with a Purpose project and her commercial ventures, she is determined to make a positive difference in the world around her and leave a lasting legacy of kindness and empowerment.
