In a bold and unconventional move to market the country’s tourism potential, the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has partnered with the Uganda Bikers’ Association (UBA) to take the flagship “Explore Uganda” campaign to the highways of Europe.
A convoy of 20 professional Ugandan bikers is set to embark on a month-long, seven-nation European tour starting in the second week of June. Moving away from traditional indoor tourism expos and boardroom conferences, the riders will hit the tarmac to pitch Uganda’s unique attractions directly to the European public.
