Beyond Limits, a pan-African organization dedicated to driving digital transformation, excellence, and growth in individuals and organizations, recently announced that preparations are underway for the second edition of Nigeria’s first-ever tech ecosystem mixer, DICE. The event is set to take place in April 2024 following the success of the inaugural edition held in November 2023 in Lagos.
DICE, which stands for Digital Innovation and Creative Excellence, serves as Beyond Limits’ platform for fostering networking and collaboration among Africa’s innovators in the technology space. The goal is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and promote greater impact through collaboration. The upcoming edition of DICE aims to continue the tradition of bringing together participants from across Africa’s creative industry to share knowledge, collaborate, and innovate.
The event will welcome a diverse group of creative industry practitioners, including filmmakers, actors, performing artists, content creators, as well as tech founders, innovators, corporate leaders, investors, digital agencies, influencers, and policymakers. Participants can look forward to engaging in robust conversations through panel discussions, success stories, fireside chats, creative performances, and networking opportunities.
Dr. Juliet Ehimuan, Founder and CEO of Beyond Limits, expressed her excitement about the success of the inaugural DICE mixer and emphasized the importance of building on that success to foster new connections, innovation, and knowledge sharing. She highlighted the potential for growth and impact within Africa’s creative industry and discussed the need to address challenges related to funding, regulation, and other factors.
The second edition of DICE will feature discussions led by industry experts and thought leaders such as Nigeria’s Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture, and The Creative Economy, H.M. DICE 2.0 is an invite-only event scheduled to take place in Victoria Island, Lagos, with TechCabal and The Guardian serving as official media partners.
