The former president Boni Yayi would be the victim of a disinformation campaign according to officials from the party Les Démocrates.
The Les Démocrates party issued a warning against the officials behind the disinformation and misinformation campaign targeting the party and its leader.
Through a statement dated April 7, 2024, signed by its communication secretary, Dr. Guy Mitokpè, the party strongly condemns this cynical initiative and warns the authors and sponsors.
In said statement, the democrats believe that the so-called government of rupture would benefit much more from seeking solutions to the suffering of the people rather than continuing to distract them.
Furthermore, the party reaffirms that it will use all legal means to ensure that the modified electoral code is not used in the 2026 general elections.
