The Electoral Code of Benin, revised by the deputies between March 5 and 6, 2024, was declared in accordance with the Constitution by the Constitutional Court. This decision, made during the plenary hearing on March 14, 2024, follows the examination of eight appeals and a constitutionality request introduced by President Patrice Talon.

The Court, following the recommendations of rapporteur Dorothé Sossa, confirmed the conformity of Law 2024-13, which amends and completes Law 2019-43 of November 15, 2019, concerning the Electoral Code in the Republic of Benin, with the fundamental law of the country.
