The national coach of Benin, Gernot Rohr, unveiled on Friday his list of selected players for the matches against Ivory Coast and Senegal, as part of the first international break of the year.
Like other African countries, Benin will return to the pitch next March. The Guépards will face Ivory Coast and Senegal in the context of the first international break of the 2024 calendar year. Team Benin will take on the reigning African champions on March 23 at 5:00 PM (GMT+1) at the Stade de la Licorne in Amiens, France.
And three days later, the Beninese ambassadors will face the Lions of Senegal, at the same stadium but at 8:30 PM (GMT+1). These are great duels to assess the level of the Beninese squad before the resumption of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
For these two showcase matches, the national coach, Gernot Rohr, announced on Friday his list of selected players. In this group, there are the usual suspects and some new faces.
