The Director of Examinations and Competitions, Dr. Roger Koudoadinou, has reopened the online registration for candidates taking the BEPC exam in the 2024 session.
Through a service note dated March 23, 2024, in Porto Novo to the Departmental Directors of Secondary Education, the Director of Examinations and Competitions informs school principals of the reopening of online registration for candidates taking the BEPC exam in the 2024 session.
“In the context of the aforementioned subject and on the instruction of the Minister, committed to protecting the interests of candidates against serious shortcomings of some private school principals, the Directorate of Examinations and Competitions announces to the educational community the exceptional reopening of the EducMaster platform, in order to allow the updating of information and the registration of students who have not completed their online registration for the BEPC exam in the 2024 session,” reads the service note.
This special registration derogation is granted from Saturday, March 23 to Monday, March 25, 2024, at midnight. According to the service note from the DEC, this measure is the very last of its kind.
Furthermore, it is important to remember that neglecting to register candidates’ files or to enter grades on EducMaster outside the official deadline is a misconduct and a serious violation of administrative provisions by the concerned school principals, and as such, this negligence may lead to sanctions, the note emphasizes.
