Benin: death this Friday of a former FCBE deputy

The political party Force Cauris for an Emerging Benin is in mourning. Former deputy Chabi Bah Guéra has passed away this Friday.

Chabi Bah Guéra is no more. The former mayor of the municipality of N’dali passed away on the morning of this Friday, March 29, 2024, in Parakou.

According to information reported by Banouto, the former mayor passed away after battling a long illness. The deceased held a position within the political bureau of the opposition party Force Cauris for an Emerging Benin.

Chabi Bah Guéra was president of the Association for the Development of the Borgou Municipalities (ADECOB) during his term as mayor of N’dali. In 2015, he was elected as a deputy to the National Assembly in the 8th electoral constituency and served in the 7th legislature.

Chabi Bah Guéra was the substitute for Ayouba Monra Mamoudou in the 2023 legislative elections in the 8th electoral constituency. However, he was not able to get elected for the ninth legislature.
