The Minister of Digital and Digitalization, Aurélie Soulé Zoumarou, has appointed the management team of SRTB. A team led by Darius Dadé was appointed interim General Manager of SRTB.
Darius Dadé is the interim General Manager of the Société de Radio et Télévision du Bénin (SRTB S.A.), formerly known as ORTB.
He was appointed interim General Manager on Friday, March 22, 2024, by the Minister of Digital and Digitalization, Aurélie Soulé Zoumarou.
Before this promotion, Darius Franck Dadé held the position of General Manager of the multimedia center for adolescents and youth in Benin, which manages the Ado Tv-Fm channels. He has held this position since 2016.
With a career start as a radio journalist in 2002, Darius Dadé has strengthened his expertise in the television field. He has excelled in his roles at Radio Tokpa and played a leading role as a journalist, presenter, and sports commentator at Canal3 Benin.
Having a Master’s degree equivalent diploma, he holds a Bac + 5 in Youth Animation, specializing in Community Development, with a particular focus on communication and audiovisual press. In addition to his studies in sociology and anthropology, the new interim head of public service audiovisual media has served in the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Leisure from 2007 to 2008 on specific projects.
He is elected to lead a team of directors of the press organizations of SRTB.

By order No. 003/MND/DC/SGM/CTJ/DPAF/SA/002SGG24 appointing interim officials to positions of responsibility at SRTB S.A, Darius Franck Dadé becomes the interim General Manager of the Société de Radio et Télévision du Bénin.
Abiatou Oumarou as interim director of Bénin Tv, the national television. Radio Bénin is now under the competent interim direction of Maurice Mahounon. Elvis Hessou, the new trusted director of Bénin Tv Juniors (formerly Ado Tv). Urbain Sessou has been promoted to interim director of Radio Bénin Alafia, while Habib Boubakar Soumanou is appointed as the interim director of Radio Parakou. Issa Hamadou now leads Kiff FM, born from the merger of Atlantic Fm and Ado Fm.
According to the ministerial order, these directors are designated temporarily pending the completion of recruitment procedures by the High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (Haac).
