The city of Bantè welcomed a new Executive Secretary, Clarisse Odile Houehou, who took office on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Her arrival marks the end of over two months of vacancy in this position, following the death of Marie Roméo Mèhinto on December 14, 2023, in a context of disagreement with some members of the municipal council.

In installing the new executive secretary, the prefect of the Collines department, Dr. Saliou Odoubou, encouraged all members of the municipal administration to work together for the well-being of the population, following the directives of President Patrice Talon.

After publicly giving thanks to God and the ancestors, Clarisse Odile Houehou confidently expresses her desire to engage in a sincere and law-abiding collaboration. Similarly, Mayor Comlan Fagbèmon shows his willingness to collaborate smoothly with the new executive secretary.
