The National Agency for Market Management has raised the alarm against illegal censuses of traders taking place at the Dantokpa market.

This activity is strictly prohibited, and those who engage in it will be subject to severe sanctions in accordance with the current legislation.

In an official statement, the director of ANaGeM reveals that the perpetrators make promises of reserving space in new urban markets to the victims. The authorized agency warns counterfeiters and assures users that it is in no way involved in the operation.

It has come to my attention that individuals or associations within the Dantokpa market are conducting census activities of merchants under the pretext of reserving space in new urban markets, the statement reads.

The National Agency for Market Management (ANaGeM), which is the only authorized agency to carry out the census and allocation of places in markets, is in no way associated with these activities, the objectives of which it completely ignores.
