BAI Cabo Verde inaugurated a new bank branch last Friday, located in the Palmarejo neighborhood of Praia City. The new branch features two personalized service stations, a room for business customers, and three teller windows.
According to a statement from the institution, the BAICV Palmarejo branch, part of the financial institution’s expansion plan, opened its doors to the public on Monday, the 18th.
“We identified this area as a densely populated zone with many businesses. We realized that people and businesses needed a fast banking solution with the best possible service. Since our purpose is to offer the best banking experience, we felt that this was the place to be,” explained the same source.
This is the eleventh branch of Banco BAICV, and the goal is to attract more businesses and individual customers, particularly focusing on emigrants, to be served quickly when they come to Cape Verde, as the Cape Verdean diaspora is our 11th island, just like our branch is the 11th.
Banco BAICV has been in Cape Verde for 15 years and already has physical presence in Praia City, with branches in the neighborhoods of Chã de Areia, where its headquarters are located, Achada Santo António, Plateau, and Palmarejo.
Additionally, in Santiago, it has a branch in the city of Assomada, in the municipality of Santa Catarina. In São Vicente, it has 2 branches, in the center of Mindelo City – Monte Cara branch, and in the Monte Sossego neighborhood with the Montsu branch. In Sal, it is in Espargos and Santa Maria, in Boa Vista in Sal-Rei, and in Fogo in São Filipe.
