Educated in masonry and carpentry, former young outlaws (ex-Kuluna) will be sent across the country to contribute to the nation by farming, building schools, and hospitals after two years of reeducation and training in Kaniama Kasese.
In Kinshasa, in the Nsele commune, a group will be set up to manufacture benches that the National Service will provide free of charge to schools in need, as well as for the upcoming rehabilitation of the Kintambo General Hospital which, in a few days, will be launched by the Supreme Commander of the Republic. This concerns the modernization work of the Kintambo maternity ward, then later the Kintambo referral hospital.
“From Ndjili airport, they will go to their battalion in N’sele. Indeed, we have prepared a large carpentry workshop that you will discover and they will make benches on instructions from the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander. We will be able to equip all our schools with benches made by these young people and a second part who have been trained in construction. Among them are masons, ironworkers, painters. In a few days, the Supreme Commander of the Republic will launch the modernization work of the Kintambo maternity ward, and later the Kintambo referral hospital. So, they have a very big task and after that, there will be other things that these children will engage in.”, said General Jean-Pierre Kasongo Kabwik, number 1 of the National Service.
