Banco Keve launches “Pacote Muhatu” package to promote female entrepreneurship
Banco Keve launched on Saturday, 02, in Luanda, an innovative financial solution for female entrepreneurs in Angola, called “Pacote Muhatu”, as part of its exclusive support strategy for female entrepreneurship.
This solution will allow the bank to expand its focus on women-led entrepreneurship initiatives, offering a range of advantages that enable access to credit, simplified payment methods, differentiated pricing, and promote inclusion and diversity in the business community.
To access the Pacote Muhatu, female entrepreneurs must present a cash flow statement and evidence of invoicing (bank statements, tax payments), be majority shareholders of an SME (validated by the statutes), must not have a history of default with the bank or in the market for more than 290 days. In addition, for credit applications, among other documents, experience in the sector of activity to which the credit is intended is required.
During the presentation ceremony of the initiative, the administrator of Banco Keve, Efigénia Tonha (in the photo), mentioned that the Pacote Muhatu offers various services and products, such as the “Muhatu current account”, “fee-free POS”, “collateralized current account”, and “Muhatu term deposit”.
“This solution also includes a set of partnerships, from legal and tax advisory, because we understand that companies must also be properly legalized and have their taxes in order, and often we realize that we have the enthusiasm to create a business, but then there are fundamental pieces that are not well taken care of, which is why we find it ideal to add these advantages,” she explained.
According to the responsible person, Banco Keve has set the minimum annual turnover for female entrepreneurs, owners of small and medium-sized enterprises, to subscribe to this package at 10 million kwanzas per year. “We are talking about a little less than 1 million kwanzas per month, precisely to ensure a higher level of inclusion of women in this process,” added Efigénia Tonha.
