Desportivo da Lunda-Sul won this Sunday afternoon at the Municipal Stadium of Mangueiras, in Saurimo, against Williete de Benguela, by one goal to zero, with the goal scored in the 7th minute of the first half by Kuxixima, after a cross from Cuca on the left wing.
With this victory, Desportivo da Lunda-Sul now has 31 points in the standings, followed by Petro de Luanda and Kabuscorp do Palanca both with 27 points.
The coach of Desportivo, Maurilio Silva, expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance in Sunday’s match against Williete. The assistant coach of Williete de Benguela, Adilio Simões, acknowledged the superiority of the opponent, but liked the effort of his players throughout the 90 minutes.
On March 7th, Desportivo da Lunda-Sul will face Petro de Luanda at the 11 de Novembro Stadium.
