A breakdown in the operational management information system of TAAG-Linhas Aéreas de Angola at the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport caused delays in the boarding of passengers destined for the cities of Maputo (Mozambique), Cabo, Johannesburg (South Africa), Windhoek (Namibia) and Lisbon (Portugal) between 5 and 11 hours on Sunday.
According to a source from the national airline, the constraints occurred due to a temporary low in the information system, which technicians promptly resolved after nearly five hours, restoring normality and allowing passengers to board for their destinations. For this reason, TAAG regrets the inconvenience and reaffirms its commitment to providing increasingly better travel experiences to its passengers, making its services more agile and flexible.
TAAG – Angola Airlines, founded in 1938, currently flies to 12 domestic destinations and 13 international ones. In addition to passenger transport, its fleet also transports cargo, a service that is increasingly essential for the development of the local ecosystem.
