It should also be noted that the National Office of Meteorology has issued a yellow alert for “rain” and “thunderstorm” in several provinces of the country. Indeed, this yellow alert concerns the provinces of Tlemcen, Mostaganem, Relizane, Chlef, Ain Defla, Tipaza, and Blida.
Furthermore, the services of Météo Algérie have placed a yellow alert for “strong wind” and “sandstorm” in the provinces of Naama, El Bayadh, Tiaret, Laghouat, Djelfa, M’sila, Ouled Djellal, El M’Ghair, and Biskra. According to the same source, strong winds will also blow in the provinces of Ain Témouchent and Oran.
