The national gendarmerie authorities announced today, Friday, a list of closed roads in several provinces due to recent bad weather. According to information posted on their official page “Tariki”, the roads blocked due to snow accumulation in the province of Tizi Ouzou are as follows: national road number 30 in the Nizi N’Koulane region in the municipality of Iboudrarène, national road number 33 in the Assoul region in the municipality of Aït Boumahdi is also closed, as well as national road 100 connecting the municipalities of Ouadhia and Beni Douala at the village of Taqemount, due to landslides and road collapse.
In the province of Bouira, snow accumulation has led to the closure of national road 33 connecting the municipalities of Bouira and Ouacif (Tizi Ouzou), specifically in the regions of Tikjda and Ikoukar in the municipality of Bechloul, as well as national road 15 connecting the municipalities of Bouira and Tizi Ouzou, precisely in the region of Koul Tirourda in Aïn El Zbaida in the municipality of Agbalo. Other roads remain open to traffic.
The national gendarmerie authorities also advise road users to exercise caution and vigilance.
