Applying for a visa for Algeria
The application for a foreign citizen without Algerian dual nationality must be submitted before departure. The applicant must go to the Algerian consulate in their country of residence or through specialized agencies.
For a tourist visa, the documents required are:

– Two passport-sized photos,
– A travel insurance certificate valid for the entire stay,
– A hotel reservation for the entire stay or a legalized accommodation certificate from the city hall of the place of residence of the inviting person, along with their ID,
– For minor children: a birth certificate or a family booklet,
– Proof of resources: a work certificate, pay slip, etc.
The application must be submitted to the embassy, and the processing fee is 110 euros (for French citizens). The processing fees may vary depending on the country; for example, visa applicants with a Turkish passport will only pay 50 euros.
The embassy may also require a personal interview and reserve the right to request additional documents if deemed necessary to evaluate your visa application. Incomplete applications will not be processed on time, will be delayed, and may be refused. The processing time usually does not exceed 15 days.
