Skikda is a very large coastal wilaya in northeastern Algeria, bordered by Annaba to the east and Jijel to the west. Prefer weekdays and off-peak periods (such as September) to avoid crowds and the influx of people.
Marsa Zitoun:
The beach of Marsa Zitoun is located on the coast of the town of Kheneg Mayom in the wilaya of Skikda, and is characterized by its clear blue water and soft sand, interspersed with a group of dark rocks and surrounded by green cliffs, giving the whole place a creative touch of nature. The beach is ideal for families, as its waters are safe for swimming, and along its length, a good number of light restaurants are scattered.
Marina d’or Skikda:
A vast water park located in the small town of Flifla. Perfect for swimming without the sand of the beaches, the water park is equipped with all the amenities for a pleasant day. The entrance fee is set at 3800 DA.
Khraief Beach:
The wild beach of Khraief is located halfway between Marsa Zitoun and Oued Zhor. To access it, you will need to walk about 2 km after the village of Laouinat on an unpaved track. The beach is composed of a long reef cut in two by a large rock in the middle.
