A renewed commitment to local production
In addition, on the sidelines of the showroom inauguration, the head of Baic Algeria took the opportunity to announce ambitious projects. This factory, which started production in 2018, had to suspend its activities due to challenges faced by the automotive sector.
This announcement marks an important turning point for the automotive industry in Algeria. The restart of the Baic factory in Batna promises to boost the local economy by creating jobs and revitalizing the automotive production sector.
In conclusion, the planned restart of the factory in Batna underscores Baic’s commitment to the Algerian market, while offering opportunities for growth and development for the entire sector. As the world turns towards more sustainable mobility solutions, Baic positions itself as a key partner to accompany Algeria in this transition towards a cleaner and more innovative automotive future.
